I was on the look out for Yankee Candles out here and came across some but with a hefty price tag, they are a bargain at home in comparison!

Here are some DIY ideas which I have already used to compensate for YC candles..they look good, but the scent of Yankee is hard to beat..

 Use old jars (soak labels off with vinegar) and fill with stones and pillar candle..

 Fill with epsom salt or sugar to create a snowy feel for Christmas..

Or another cute idea...hundreds & thousands!

Some other fill ideas: Coffee Beans, Nuts, Berries, Sand, Cinnamon Sticks, Ivory Leaves, Beads..pretty much anything!

Get Made Up..

 Get organised with this DIY magnetic make up holder..

1. Old frame, paint/distress to taste

2. Thin metal sheet in replacement of glass (cover in printed giftwrap to taste/theme)

3. Place sticky mini magnets to make up/brush pot holders

 Here is a similar idea using a printed artist canvas with metal sheet placed on top for magnetic noticeboard..

Like this vintage look for your dressing table too..

Ombre Trend..

Ombre.. Using any polish of your choice pour onto a flat surface, take a spongy eyeshadow applicators and dip into the polish, dab the polish on your nail concentrating at the tip and moving slightly upward. Repeat until you get the desired effect. Put a topcoat over the entire nail et voila! :)
